• Packer Memorabilia of the Day (August 21st, 2008)

Since I have such a huge Packers memorabilia collection I have decided to start a feature where I show you some of the items in my collection. This will hopefully be a daily feature. I have never technically counted all my Packers merchandise but if I had to take a guess it would probably consist of a couple hundred items. So items are rare, common, unique, and in some instances just plain wierd. So I will begin the feature with my most expensive piece of Packers memorabilia, my authentic Packers helmet.

This authentic Packers helmet is far from cheap (it retails at about $300). Luckily I actually didn’t have to pay for it. I actually won it in a fantasy football contest a couple years ago. This is a totally authentic helmet and is just like the helmets they were on the field. As you can probably tell from the pictures I currently do have some autographs on it. I currently have three autographs. It the first picture you can see Greg Jennings autograph on the far left. In the second picture the left autograph is Aaron Rodgers and the right autograph is AJ Hawk. While it is not a highly original piece of Packers memorabilia I would ahve to consider it one of star pieces of my collection.

Are you interested in having a piece of your Packers memorabilia featured on this site? If you are interested you just need to send me an email (eric@packerholic.com) with the subjet line of Packers Memorabilia of the Day. Your email needs to contain a picture of your item along with a short description of the item and possibly how you acquired it. Your item doesn’t need to be rare or unique since it is always good to see other people’s Packer collections. If there is a good story behind your piece of Packers memorabilia we would all love to hear about it. If you want to submit more than one item or even your whole collection I am open to that as well. I will accept all submissions and eventually feature them all on this site. Depending on how popular the feature is though it might take a while to get to your item. I hope with this feature Packer fans across the country will be able to share their Packer collectibles and collections with the rest of Packer Nation.

  1. Thanks for checking out my site on a daily basis, Eric. I appreciate it.

I didn’t you ran a blog, but I’m glad you let me know, man. Looks like you’re doing an excellent job with everything.

You’re not the only young blogger out there. I’m only 20 years myself (although I’ll finally be able to have a beer…legally… in about 3 weeks). Just because we’re young, doesn’t mean that we don’t know what we’re talking about. You’re obviously a die-hard Packer fan and that’s all that matters, young or old.

Keep up the good work, man.
